Drug resistance is one of the major challenges in colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment. Overcoming drug resistance and improving the treatment effect of CRC patients who have developed drug resistance is a crucial issue. Crassocephalum rabens and Bidens pilosa are edible plants that are also commonly used as a folk medicine. This study explored the pharmacological mechanism and therapeutic efficacy of bioactive compounds isolated from Crassocephalum rabens and Bidens pilosa for treating drug-resistant CRC in vitro and in vivo. Overall design: The transcriptional profile of wild-type HT-29 cells was analyzed by RNA-seq following 24h exposure to CRA or BP.

耐药性是结直肠癌(colorectal cancer, CRC)治疗面临的主要挑战之一。克服耐药性、改善耐药结直肠癌患者的治疗效果是一项至关重要的研究课题。野茼蒿(Crassocephalum rabens)与鬼针草(Bidens pilosa)既是可食用植物,同时也常作为民间药用植物使用。本研究探讨了从野茼蒿和鬼针草中分离得到的生物活性成分,用于体外及体内模型治疗耐药结直肠癌的药理机制与治疗功效。实验整体设计:将野生型HT-29细胞经CRA(野茼蒿提取物)或BP(鬼针草提取物)处理24小时后,采用RNA-seq技术分析其转录组表达谱。
