Crowdsourced data reveal shortcomings in precipitation phase products for rain and snow partitioning

This dataset is published by the Geophysical Research Letters (https://doi.org/10.1029/2024GL112853). The CSV file contains precipitation phase observations (i.e., rain, snow, and mix) and other related meteorological variables (e.g., temperature) from the Mountain Rain or Snow citizen science project. There are 37,338 MRoS observations (i.e., rows) from January 2020 to July 2023 across the conterminous United States.
