Enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) is a methyltransferase playing important roles in several renal diseases. It has been shown that EZH2 specific inhibitor attenuates renal interstitial fibrosis in animal models. To fully understand the mechanisms under EZH2 mediated pro-fibrotic responses, we established a unilateral ureter obstruction (UUO) model using EZH2 conditional knockout (CKO) mice. Gene expression was compared between UUO/WT and UUO/CKO group.

zeste同源增强子2(Enhancer of zeste homolog 2,EZH2)是一种甲基转移酶,在多种肾脏疾病中发挥关键调控作用。已有研究证实,EZH2特异性抑制剂可在动物模型中减轻肾间质纤维化。为全面阐明EZH2介导的促纤维化反应的潜在分子机制,本研究通过EZH2条件性敲除(conditional knockout,CKO)小鼠构建了单侧输尿管梗阻(unilateral ureter obstruction,UUO)模型,并对UUO/野生型(wild type,WT)组与UUO/CKO组的基因表达水平进行了对比分析。
