Acoustic Observations from the 2023 April 20 Starship Launch and Explosion Recorded on Ground and Stratospheric Balloon-borne Microbarometers

These data were collected in east-central New Mexico, USA during the first Starship orbital rocket test on 20 April 2023. The data consist of pressure records from infrasound microbarometers located on the ground and attached to solar hot air balloons drifting in the lower stratosphere. The tar file contains pressure records from the microbarometers, the trajectory of the balloons launched during the campaign, and the locations of ground sensors. This release is in support of the peer-reviewed paper "Acoustic Waves from the 20 April 2023 SpaceX Starship Rocket Explosion Traveling in the Elevated ‘AtmoSOFAR’ Channel" accepted into the journal Geophysical Journal International on 3 March 2025.本数据集采集于美国新墨西哥州中东部区域，采集时段为2023年4月20日首次星舰（Starship）轨道火箭试验期间。数据集包含次声微气压计（infrasound microbarometer）采集的压力记录，该类设备一部分布设于地面，另一部分附着于平流层下层漂移的太阳能热气球（solar hot air balloon）之上。该tar文件（tar file）包含上述微气压计的压力记录、本次试验任务中投放的热气球轨迹数据，以及地面传感器的布设位置信息。本数据集发布旨在支持2025年3月3日被《国际地球物理学报》（Geophysical Journal International）接收的同行评审论文《2023年4月20日SpaceX星舰火箭爆炸产生的声波在高空"AtmoSOFAR"通道中的传播》。
