This study first found that oral B. animalis subspecies lactis LPL-RH can help regulate intestinal microbiota balance, alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms, promote intestinal function recovery, and enhance nutrition indexes in patients with VHD after surgery. Regulating the gut microbiota may be a potential mechanism for LPL-RH to exert clinical benefits.

本研究首次发现，口服动物双歧杆菌乳亚种（B. animalis subsp. lactis）LPL-RH可帮助瓣膜性心脏病（Valvular Heart Disease, VHD）术后患者调节肠道菌群平衡、缓解胃肠道症状、促进肠道功能恢复，并改善营养指标。调节肠道菌群可能是LPL-RH发挥临床获益的潜在作用机制。
