In order to asses differences between expression profiles of postnatal and adult mice, RNA-sequencing was performed on RNA from postnatal day 2 and 4 month old murine aortic valves. Overall design: 6 samples were analyzed: 3 replicates of the postnatal day 2 timepoint and 3 replicates of the 4 month timepoint. Differential expression was ranked based on false discovery rate (2).

为评估出生后与成年小鼠的基因表达谱差异，本研究针对出生后第2天及4月龄小鼠的主动脉瓣膜总RNA开展RNA测序（RNA-sequencing）实验。
实验总体设计：共纳入6个样本进行分析，其中出生后第2天时间点设置3个生物学重复，4月龄时间点同样设置3个生物学重复。
差异表达基因的排序基于错误发现率（false discovery rate）完成（2）。
