Focal mechanism catalog during DETECT experiment (Irpinia, Southern Apennines)

This catalog reports the focal mechanisms estimated during the short-term dense DETECT experiment, consisting of the installation of 200 seismic stations from September 2021 to August 2022 within the Irpinia Near-Fault Observatory (Southern Itay). Focal mechanisms are estimated by inverting machine learning readings of first-motion polarities using FPFIT. This dataset accompanies the manuscript by Scotto di Uccio and coauthors submitted for consideration in Geophysical Research Letters.
本目录收录了短期高密度DETECT实验期间估算的震源机制(focal mechanisms)。本次实验于2021年9月至2022年8月在意大利南部伊尔皮尼亚近断层观测站(Irpinia Near-Fault Observatory)布设了200个地震台站。研究人员采用FPFIT软件,对机器学习拾取的初动极性(first-motion polarities)数据开展反演计算,以此得到震源机制结果。本数据集为Scotto di Uccio及其合著者投稿至《地球物理研究快报》(Geophysical Research Letters)待审的论文配套数据集。
