Leptodactylus fuscus (rufous frog) genome, aLepFus1, sequence data

The rufous frog (Leptodactylus fuscus) is in the Leptodactylidae family, and is found throughout South America, in subtropical or tropical dry forests. Its local names are rana picuda ("woodcock frog") and rana silbador ("whistling frog"). This sample is from a male located in Bogota Colombia, collected by Melissa Hernandez Poveda, coordinated by Andrew Crawford, and used to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Vertebrate Genomes Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Olivier Fedrigo and Erich D. Jarvis.

棕蛙（Leptodactylus fuscus）隶属于细趾蟾科（Leptodactylidae），广泛分布于南美洲的亚热带或热带干燥森林中。其当地俗名为rana picuda（"丘鹬蛙"）与rana silbador（"哨声蛙"）。本次样本采集自哥伦比亚波哥大的一只雄性个体，由梅利莎·埃尔南德斯·波韦达（Melissa Hernandez Poveda）采集，安德鲁·克劳福德（Andrew Crawford）统筹，用于为脊椎动物基因组计划（Vertebrate Genomes Project, VGP）构建高质量参考基因组。测序及基因组组装工作由奥利维耶·费德里戈（Olivier Fedrigo）与埃里希·D·贾维斯（Erich D.
