Data of seed banks in a Yangtze River-connected floodplain wetland.

This dataset contains information on the seasonal dynamics of seed banks in two dominant macrophyte communities (Carex and Miscanthus) in the Dongting Lake wetlands, China. The study investigates seed-bank densities, species richness, and vertical distribution across different seasons (November 2017, January 2018, March 2018, and May 2018) and soil layers (0–5 cm, 5–10 cm, and 10–20 cm).

本数据集涵盖中国洞庭湖湿地两种优势大型植物（macrophyte）群落——薹草属（Carex）与芒属（Miscanthus）的种子库季节动态相关信息。本研究针对不同采样季节（2017年11月、2018年1月、2018年3月及2018年5月）与不同土层（0–5 cm、5–10 cm、10–20 cm）下的种子库密度、物种丰富度及垂直分布特征展开调查。
