Inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity are the primary behaviors associated with Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Previous studies proved that peripheral blood gene expression signature could mirror central nervous system disease. This study determined if gene expression in blood correlated with inattention, hyperactivity/impulsivity rating scales and/or both in subjects with Tourette syndrome (TS). Overall design: Whole blood was collected from each subject, and RNA was isolated from the blood of 21 un-medicated TS subjects, gene expression measured on Affymetrix human U133 Plus 2.0 arrays
注意力不集中、冲动与多动是注意缺陷与多动障碍(Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder,ADHD)的核心行为特征。既往研究证实,外周血基因表达特征可反映中枢神经系统疾病状态。本研究旨在明确抽动秽语综合征(Tourette syndrome,TS)患者的血液基因表达是否与注意力不集中、多动/冲动评定量表得分,或同时与二者存在相关性。研究整体设计:采集所有受试者的全血样本,从21名未接受药物治疗的抽动秽语综合征患者血液中分离RNA,通过Affymetrix人类U133 Plus 2.0基因芯片检测基因表达水平。
