Cave myotis diet

In this study, we used metabarcoding of the cytochrome oxidase I mitochondrial gene to analyze fecal samples of <i>Myotis velifer</i> and provide insight into the seasonal variation of diet from a colony located in the Chihuahuan Desert region of Texas.

本研究采用线粒体细胞色素氧化酶I基因（cytochrome oxidase I mitochondrial gene）的代谢条形码（metabarcoding）技术，对栖息于美国德克萨斯州奇瓦瓦沙漠（Chihuahuan Desert）区域内一个蝙蝠栖息群的绒鼠耳蝠（Myotis velifer）粪便样本进行分析，以此揭示其食性的季节变化特征。
