Exome-seq of a MC38 sub-line

The MC38 colon carcinoma cell line is widely used for in vivo tumor models. The line is commercially available from Kerafast, but due to its genomically instable nature, multiple mutated sub-lines exist at different institutes. Here, we sequenced both a low-passage MC38 line obtained from Kerafast, and a MC38 line that has been used in experiments at our insitute (MC38-AMS).

MC38结肠癌细胞系（MC38 colon carcinoma cell line）被广泛应用于体内肿瘤模型研究。该细胞系可从Kerafast公司商业获取，但由于其基因组不稳定的特性，不同研究机构中均存在多种携带不同突变的亚系。本研究对两种MC38细胞系进行了测序：一种为从Kerafast获取的低代次MC38细胞系，另一种为本机构已用于实验的MC38细胞系（命名为MC38-AMS）。
