Mitogenomes from mixed Arthropoda

The complete mitochondrial genome of several arthropodans was derived from a shallow coverage sequencing of genomic DNA from a pool of eleven different species. Once assembled, complete mt genomes were analyzed for their structure, gene order, and used as phylogenetic markers.
