Study Description
A qualitative study that explored the interrelationships between 1) abuse and sexual risk behavior, and 2) abuse, sexual risk behavior, and substance use in 18 to 24 year-old females with behaviorally-acquired HIV infection. An open-ended in-depth interview, occurring over one to two sessions, was conducted with each participant.
HIV-infected women 18 to 24 years of age with a reported history of sexual and/or physical abuse prior to age 18
