Percentage of students with an adequate understanding of issues relating to global citizenship and sustainability, a concept which nurtures respect for all, building a sense of belonging to a common humanity and helping learners become responsible and active global citizens. Global citizenship education aims to empower learners to assume active roles to face and resolve global challenges and to become proactive contributors to a more peaceful, tolerant, and inclusive and secure world. The value is calculated as the number of students at the relevant stage of education in a given year achieving or exceeding the pre-defined level of adequate understanding of issues relating to global citizenship and sustainability within a given country or region and expressed as a percentage of the total number of students at the same stage of education and year.

具备全球公民与可持续发展相关议题充分认知的学生占比:该理念倡导尊重每一位个体,培育对人类共同体的归属感,并助力学习者成长为兼具责任感与行动力的全球公民。全球公民教育(Global Citizenship Education)旨在赋予学习者主动应对并解决全球挑战的能力,使其成为推动构建更加和平、宽容、包容且安全世界的积极贡献者。该指标值的计算方式为:在给定国家或地区的给定年份中,处于对应教育阶段且达到或超出全球公民与可持续发展相关议题充分认知预设标准的学生人数,占同一年份同一教育阶段学生总人数的百分比。
