Staphylococcus epidermidis is a pathogen which infects humans and have been associated with hospital-acquired infections in immunocompromised patients and human medical device-related infections. In this regard, we describe the genome sequence of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis recovered from a COVID-19-positive patient nasopharyngeal swab sample in Brazil.表皮葡萄球菌（Staphylococcus epidermidis）是一种可感染人类的病原菌，其与免疫功能低下患者的医院获得性感染及人类医疗装置相关感染密切相关。有鉴于此，本研究报道了从巴西一名新冠病毒检测阳性患者的鼻咽拭子样本中分离得到的耐甲氧西林表皮葡萄球菌（Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis）的基因组序列。
