A Role for Indole-3-Propionate in the Prevention of Stress-Induced Behavioral Symptomology

This study aims to explore the impact of psychological stress, induced via water avoidance stress, on the exacerbation of behavioral impairments in the APP/PS1 mouse model of AD, and to investigate whether supplementation with indole-3-propionate (IPA), a gut microbiome-derived metabolite, can offer neuroprotective effects.
