Additional file 6. Distribution of bone mineral in some species ofosteichthyes and chondrichthyes with reported neutral or near neutral buoyancyor pelagic or deep-sea lifestyles that would suggest so. The table containsmeasurements and calculations leading to Additional file 5b-c. For eachspecies, a bone mineral density calibrated quantitative x-ray computedtomography scans was used to separate the specimen into 835 separate slice forwhich the bone mineral content (BMC) and slice fraction of total BMC wasmeasured. Total BMC per specimen can be found in column AH.
