Data files for Nereocystis ammonification study in Plos One.

Research was conducted by incubating samples of bull kelp (Nereocystis) in sealed incubation chambers with isotopically labelled amino acids, allowing us to track the movement of the labelled isotope (15N) within the sealed chamber. The dataset is provided as four separate csv files: the first contains the basic information necessary to calculate ammonification and nitrogen uptake as well as our final calculations of nitrogen uptake and ammonification for each sample, the next two files contain data for d15N for seawater and kelp tissue, and the last file contains data from CHN analysis.
