Nup133-mEGFP, with linkers of different lengths at its carboxyl terminus, conjugated to mEGFP. A change in the linker length by a single amino acid changes the p:s ratio. Pairs of different rigid alpha helical linkers of the same length generate indistinguishable p:s ratios.
