ATENCIÓN, CONTEMPLACIÓN, VACÍO. IRIS MURDOCH, LECTORA DE SIMONE WEIL ATTENTION, CONTEMPLATION, VOID. IRIS MURDOCH AS READER OF SIMONE WEIL

The aim of this paper is to follow the Weilian tracks in the thought of Iris Murdoch. My analysis is based on the philosophical writings of both authors, and on the notes that Murdoch made while reading her volumes of Simone Weil’s work, now conserved at Kingston University in London. In particular, this paper analyses the conceptual network formed by the notions of attention, contemplation and void, understood both from the epistemological angle and as an attitude towards life. In this way I attempt to show how Weil’s influence transforms the moral philosophy of Murdoch, who introduces a new perspective into the conception of the human being.

本文旨在梳理艾丽丝·默多克（Iris Murdoch）思想中受西蒙娜·韦伊（Simone Weil）启发的思想脉络。本分析立足于两位作者的哲学著作，以及默多克阅读西蒙娜·韦伊作品集时所做的批注——这批批注目前收藏于伦敦的金斯顿大学（Kingston University）。尤为特别的是，本文将剖析由“注意力”“沉思”与“虚空”三个概念所构建的概念网络：既从认识论视角展开解读，亦将其视作一种人生态度。借此，本文旨在阐释韦伊的思想如何重塑默多克的道德哲学，而默多克也借此为人类存在的认知框架引入了全新视角。
