The intestinal mycobiome of preterm infants in the first six postnatal weeks determined by ITS2 sequencing.

The role of gastrointestinal fungi in human health and disease is becoming more evident. The mycobiome composition and diversity of preterm infants is affected by interactions with bacteria and with clinical variables. We characterized the composition and diversity of the preterm infant mycobiome and the effect of clinical variables on it over the course of the first six postnatal weeks.

胃肠道真菌在人类健康与疾病中的作用正愈发明确。早产儿真菌群（mycobiome）的组成与多样性，会受到细菌相互作用及各类临床变量的影响。本研究对出生后前六周内早产儿真菌群的组成与多样性，以及临床变量对其产生的影响进行了系统表征与分析。
