Among FSW, the incidence rate ratio depended on the level of HIV incidence among the general population. The incidence rate ratio for women with non-regular or multiple sexual partner(s) was derived from analysis of ALPHA network data. Non-regular partners are defined to be non cohabiting. The transactional sex risk group is adjusted during analysis to correspond to female sex worker, and incidence rate ratios among FSW were derived based on patterns of relative HIV prevalence among FSW compared to general population prevalence. When the local HIV incidence in the general population is higher, the incidence rate ratio for FSW is lower.

女性性工作者（Female Sex Worker，FSW）的发病率比，取决于普通人群的HIV发病率水平。针对存在非固定性伴或多性伴的女性的发病率比，源自对阿尔法网络（ALPHA network）数据的分析。其中，非固定性伴被定义为非同居伴侣。分析过程中，性交易风险人群会被调整以匹配女性性工作者群体；女性性工作者的发病率比，是基于该群体相较于普通人群的相对HIV患病率特征推导得出。当普通人群的本地HIV发病率越高时，女性性工作者的发病率比则越低。
