VOT 挑战赛为跟踪社区提供了一种精确定义且可重复的方式来比较短期跟踪器和长期跟踪器，并为讨论视觉跟踪领域的评估和进步提供了一个通用平台。在七次非常成功的 VOT 挑战之后，第八届视觉对象跟踪挑战 VOT2020 和研讨会与 ECCV 2020 一起举行。
The VOT Challenge provides the tracking community with a precisely defined and reproducible manner to compare short-term and long-term trackers, as well as a universal platform for discussing the evaluation and advancements in the field of visual object tracking. Following seven highly successful VOT Challenges, the 8th Visual Object Tracking Challenge (VOT2020) and its associated workshop were held in conjunction with ECCV 2020.
