Data for: Definition and evidence for fuel riots as a new type of energy-related conflict

This is the database that was used to run the quantitative analysis reported in the paper. It collects national data for each country of the world for the period 2005-2016 for key variables and registers the occurrence of fuel riots in each country for each year.
