This dataset contains annual data for three major Chinese provinces—Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang—from 2000 to 2022. Variables include CO₂ emissions (in kilotonnes), GDP (in billion RMB), total population (in thousands), total energy consumption (in 10,000 tonnes of standard coal equivalent), and the Green Finance Index (unitless).
