The dataset comprises metadata for species distribution modeling outputs of 2259 distinct species. Each species has its own corresponding metadata file that contains essential information for the modeling process. The metadata files encompass a variety of details, including model parameters, MaxEnt settings, and species-specific information. The model parameters provide information into the variables and algorithms employed in the species distribution models. Additionally, the metadata files encompass species information, which can include taxonomic classification, the number of observations, and background points. The species modelled are urban species found in Canada and the United States. The modelling approach was used to assess changes in urban species as a result of climate change by the end of the century. Climate data was used from ClimateNA.
