半导体器件模拟软件是基于一系列物理模型及半导体基本方程计算的，将复杂物理系统离散化，网格化的数值计算软件。软件可仿真半导体器件的光学，电学，热学的结果以及器件在电路中的行为，也可分析器件制备工艺过程及工艺参数变化对器件性能的影响。
Semiconductor device simulation software is a numerical computation tool that discretizes and meshes complex physical systems, with its core calculations based on a series of physical models and fundamental semiconductor equations. This software can simulate the optical, electrical and thermal characteristics of semiconductor devices, as well as the behavior of devices in circuits, and can also analyze the impact of device fabrication processes and variations in process parameters on device performance.
