Probiotics are increasingly administered to extremely premature infants to prevent necrotising enterocolitis and neonatal sepsis. However, little is known about their ecological effects on the trajectory of gut microbiota assembly. Using an intervention trial, we characterized the effects of a probiotic product containing four Bifidobacterium strains and one Lacticaseibacillus strain on fecal bacterial and fungal communities in extremely premature infants before, during and after the intervention.
益生菌愈发广泛地应用于极早早产儿,以预防坏死性小肠结肠炎(necrotising enterocolitis)与新生儿败血症(neonatal sepsis)。然而,目前学界对其对肠道菌群组装轨迹的生态效应仍知之甚少。本研究通过一项干预试验,表征了一款含有4株双歧杆菌(Bifidobacterium)与1株乳酸杆菌属(Lacticaseibacillus)菌株的益生菌制剂,对极早早产儿在干预前、干预期间及干预后粪便细菌与真菌群落的影响。
