Survival benefit of resection surgery for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with liver metastases: a propensity score-matched SEER database analysis.

Data for patients with PDAC and hepatic metastasis were extracted from the population-based Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database (SEER). The bias between CDS and non-CDS groups was minimized with Propensity Score Matching (PSM), and the prognostic role of CDS was investigated by comparing Kaplan-Meier estimators and using an information-theoretic model-comparison of Cox proportional hazard models.本研究从基于人群的监测、流行病学与最终结果（Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results, SEER）数据库中提取了胰腺导管腺癌（Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma, PDAC）合并肝转移患者的相关数据。通过倾向得分匹配（Propensity Score Matching, PSM）最小化了CDS组与非CDS组间的基线偏倚，并通过对比Kaplan-Meier生存估计量，结合基于信息论的Cox比例风险模型比较方法，探究了CDS的预后价值。
