The data file is in 7z compressed format and can be extracted and opened using 7-Zip software. It contains 7 Excel spreadsheet files, including the grassland survey data of the Sichuan-Yunnan region in 2020. A total of 31 sampling plots were investigated, with records of topography, slope and other characteristics of each plot, as well as the local grassland utilization mode and utilization intensity. The specific spreadsheets are: 2020 MBCNP, 2020 Scientific Expedition Plot Information Table, 2020 Soil CNP and Inorganic Carbon, 2020 Soil pH, Moisture Content & Gravel Content, 2020 Plant and Root CNP, 2020 Plant Community Survey, and the sheet covering biomass, field-measured moisture content, bulk density and root dry weight.
