2'-fucoysllactose treatment of C57BL/6 adult mice fecal metagenomics

Adult C57BL/6 mice received 2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL), a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO), in drinking water at 1mg/mL for 7 or 28 days. Mice in the control group received only regular drinking water. Feces was collected from mice and fecal DNA extracted for shotgun sequencing to examine the effect of 2'-FL consumption on the microbiome composition.
