Recent researches suggest a more complex regulation of cardiac rhythm and function involving not only autonomic efferent nervous system, but also the afferent pathways. Both exercise training and probiotic bacteria appear to influence the peripheral serotonergic system, thereby modulating the afferent signals transmitted from the heart. Therefore, the aims of the present study were to investigate the effects of eight-weeks of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and probiotic supplementation on serum serotonin concentration, mRNA expression of 5-HTR2A and SERT, heart rate variability (HRV), and mood states (POMS), and to examine the relationship between the peripheral serotonergic system and HRV in sedentary females.
近年研究表明,心脏节律与功能的调控机制更为复杂,其调控不仅涉及自主传出神经系统,还涵盖传入通路。运动训练与益生菌均可对外周5-羟色胺能系统(peripheral serotonergic system)产生影响,进而调节心脏传递的传入信号。为此,本研究旨在探究为期8周的高强度间歇训练(HIIT)与益生菌补充对血清5-羟色胺浓度、5-HTR2A及血清素转运体(SERT)的mRNA表达、心率变异性(HRV)以及心境状态量表(POMS)的影响,并分析外周5-羟色胺能系统与心率变异性之间的关联,研究对象为久坐女性。
