we report whole genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis strains OS2 that was isolated from petroleum oil refinery sludge. The genome size is 3967153bp with GC content of 4.63%.This strain has the ability of producing biologically active lipopeptides surfactin and degradation of xenobiotic and oil.

本研究报道了从石油炼油厂污泥中分离得到的贝莱斯芽孢杆菌（Bacillus velezensis）OS2菌株的全基因组序列。该菌株基因组大小为3967153 bp，GC含量为4.63%。此菌株可合成具有生物活性的脂肽类物质表面活性素（surfactin），同时能够降解外源性污染物与石油类物质。
