These data were collected as a part of a larger paleolimnological assessment of the Bay of Quinte, Lake Ontario. The goal of these specific data was to measure change in cladoceran size structure over time in response to historical trophic alteration. We wanted to identify the best indicators of trophic change that could then be applied to further paleolimnological investigations of the Bay of Quinte and coupled with other assemblage metrics (e.g., relative abundance, diversity, and concentration) to provide a comprehensive overview of long-term change.<br>These data were generated and analysed as part of the following work:<br>Armstrong, I., & Cumming, B.
