资源简介:
A transect across the ice sheet ridge through the JASE Meeting point (75°53’S; 25°50’E; 3661 m a.s.l.) was investigated using several remote sensing methods. The methods include polarimetric 179 MHz radar, GPR model GSSI SIR3000 with 270 MHz antenna, pulse-modulated 179 MHz radar, pulse-modulated 60 MHz radar, 5 channel Microwave radiometers (6 GHz (V and H), 18 GHz (V) and 36 GHz (V and H)) and the Swedish Snow Radar. This transect was used for a purpose that most of remote sensors measure along the same line. Also, this transect was used to understand spatial distribution of accumulation rate. * Across-the-ridge survey connecting the following three points 75°44.43’ S, 26°16.04 E, 3647-m above sea level (Northernmost point) 75°53.29’ S, 25°50.02 E, 3661-m above sea level (the JS meeting point) 76°2.01’ S, 25°23.37 E, 3651-m above sea level (Southernmost point)
