Dataset for: Usability evaluation of VarScout, a citizen science application

A mixed-method approach was employed to determine the key factors influencing the long-term utilization of VarScout among different user groups, namely Farmers, Technicians, and Students. This comprehensive study utilized qualitative techniques like Focus Group and Action Research, alongside quantitative data analysis that involved constructing measures to evaluate performance, effort, habits, and intention to use. To ensure reliability, the collected data underwent analysis using Cronbach's alpha values, which were calculated for each construct corresponding to every user category.

本研究采用混合研究方法，旨在探明不同用户群体（即农民、技术人员与学生）长期使用VarScout的关键影响因素。本项综合性研究融合运用了焦点小组（Focus Group）、行动研究（Action Research）等定性研究技术，同时配套开展定量数据分析工作：通过构建测评量表对绩效、努力程度、使用习惯及使用意向进行评估。为保障数据可靠性，研究针对每一类用户群体对应的各研究构念，均计算了克朗巴哈α系数（Cronbach's alpha）以开展数据分析。
