Genome-wide analysis of diel gene expression in harmful alga Heterosigma akashiwo

For photosynthetic organism (Heterosigma akashiwo etc.) , the light: dark cycle is an important variable in the regulation of biological processes, such as photosynthesis, cell division and cell behaviour. This study was aimed at 1) Iidentify genes in H. akashiwo with a diel expression pattern; 2) identify potential target genes to regulate the physiological status of H. akashiwo in the field.

对于光合生物（如赤潮异弯藻（Heterosigma akashiwo）等）而言，光暗周期是调控其光合作用、细胞分裂及细胞行为等生物学过程的关键变量。本研究旨在达成两个目标：1）鉴定赤潮异弯藻中具有昼夜节律表达模式的基因；2）筛选可在野外环境中调控赤潮异弯藻生理状态的潜在靶基因。
