The dataset contains the both-side counts of four bilateral meristic traits of Ryukyu-ayu fish (Plecoglossus altivelis ryukyuensis). The fish specimens were collected from three populations: Yona River, Okinawa Island; Yakugachi River, Amami-oshima Island; hatchery-reared fish at ayu observation center, Amami City.<br>This dataset was used to calculate fluctuating asymmetry (FA) incidence and FA score for each population.本数据集记录了琉球香鱼（Plecoglossus altivelis ryukyuensis）4个双侧可数性状的两侧计数数据。实验用鱼类标本采自3个种群：冲绳岛与那河（Yona River）种群、奄美大岛矢岳川（Yakugachi River）种群，以及奄美市香鱼观测中心的人工繁育种群。 本数据集被用于计算各群体的波动不对称（fluctuating asymmetry, FA）发生率与波动不对称得分。
