This study examined the effects of Concept Mapping (CM) and the Student-Team Achievement Division (STAD) on students' achievement in Photosynthesis among secondary school students in Nyamagabe and Gicumbi districts, Rwanda. A quasi-experimental pre-and post-test non-equivalent control group research design was used in the study. Data were obtained from 70 students who were taught using CM, 66 who were taught using STAD, and 65 who taught using the Conventional Teaching methods (CTM ). The Photosynthesis Achievement Test (PAT), which served as pre-and post-test, was the instrument used to gather the data before and after interventions in the study groups
本研究以卢旺达尼亚马加贝(Nyamagabe)与基孔比(Gicumbi)两区的中学生为研究对象,考察概念图(Concept Mapping, CM)及学生小组成绩分工法(Student-Team Achievement Division, STAD)对学生光合作用学业表现的影响。本研究采用准实验性前后测非对等控制组研究设计,共纳入70名接受概念图教学、66名接受学生小组成绩分工法教学,以及65名接受传统教学法(Conventional Teaching Methods, CTM)授课的学生作为研究样本。本研究以光合作用学业成就测试(Photosynthesis Achievement Test, PAT)作为前后测工具,在各研究组实施教学干预前后采集相关数据。
