Our objectives in this investigation were to identify stucture genes and TFs associated with anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway and chlorophyll metabolic pathway and investigate their spatiotemporal expression patterns during the bicolor tepal development in order to elucidate the mechanisms of bicolor (white and purple) tepal development in lilies.
