Illness scripts as a tool to develop clinical reasoning: A mixed methods study dataset

A dataset for our research on illness scripts as a tool to develop clinical reasoning.Introduction: Clinical reasoning is a skill which must be developed by medical students during their training. Illness scripts may have a role in building this skill. The aim of this study was to investigate medical students' use of illness script tables.Methodology: The study was a cross-sectional, mixed-methods design. Third year medical students were recruited. Ethical approval was gained, and survey responses (distributed via on online platform) were anonymous. Results were quantitatively analysed using the dataset.

本数据集用于我们关于以疾病脚本（illness scripts）作为临床推理培养工具的相关研究。引言：临床推理是医学生在培训阶段必须掌握的核心技能，而疾病脚本或可助力该技能的构建。本研究旨在探究医学生对疾病脚本表格（illness script tables）的使用情况。研究方法：本研究采用横断面混合方法设计，招募三年级医学生参与。本研究已获得伦理审查批准，通过线上平台发放的调查问卷回复均为匿名形式，研究结果基于本数据集开展定量分析。
