Endophytic Alcaligens bacterium with potent antifungal and plant growth promoting activity.

It is an entophytic bacteria isolated from chilli plant from the nearby field of Tezpur University, Assam. It shows strong antifungal activity against diverse fungal pathogens including Venturia inaequalis (Apple scab), Alternaria alternata (leaf spot), and fungal pathogens of large cardamom. This bacterium can grow at diverse temperature range from 15 to 50 degree centigrade. In addition to the antifungal activity, this bacterium also exhibit plant growth promoting activity. These properties emphasize the potential application for the bacterium as biotechnological solutions for climate resilient agriculture.

该菌株为分离自阿萨姆邦蒂兹普尔大学附近农田辣椒植株的内生细菌（endophytic bacteria）。其对多种真菌病原菌具有较强抗真菌活性，包括苹果黑星病菌（Venturia inaequalis）、引起叶斑病的链格孢菌（Alternaria alternata）以及大豆蔻致病真菌。该细菌可在15至50摄氏度的宽泛温度范围内生长。除抗真菌活性外，该细菌还具备植物生长促生活性。上述特性凸显了该菌株作为气候韧性农业生物技术解决方案的应用潜力。
