Description
Parameter values and statistics for the disturbance ZIP models (excluding latitude and longitude) for eight animal guilds. Guild is the animal guild, abbreviated as Ape (apes), Bird (insectivorous birds), Duik (duikers), Ele (elephant), Fbird (large frugivorous birds), Mky (monkeys), Pig (forest pigs), and Squ (squirrels). Effects of explanatory variables (in the Parameter column) are estimated for the two parts of the mixture model. Parameters with the prefix b0 are effects of the absence part of the ZIP model quantifying the probability of a structural zero: these effects are on the logit scale. Parameters with the prefix b are effects for the abundance part of the model: these effects are guild densities. Explanatory variables include: frt (fruit abundance); pca1 (PCA axis 1 – number of trees); pca2 (PCA axis 2 – number of lianas); pca3 (PCA axis 3 – understory); pco (canopy heterogeneity); site (different forest types) where [1] = logged, hunted forest, [2] = logged, unhunted forest, [3] = unlogged, unhunted forest. The standard deviation of the month × species random effect is sigma.mo. From the estimated explanatory variables and the data, we calculated: post.p as the probability that the observations along a transect come from a Poisson distribution for each site; post.lambda as the predicted guild density generated from a Poisson distribution for each site; and post.abund as the mean guild density for each site. For each parameter value, we list the mean (Mean), standard deviation (SD), the Monte Carlo standard error of the mean (MC error), and the 2.5%, 50% (Median), and 97.5% quantiles for each parameter.

本数据集包含8个动物功能群(animal guild)的干扰零膨胀泊松(Zero-Inflated Poisson, ZIP)模型(不含经纬度坐标)的参数值与统计量。本数据中的功能群指代动物功能群,其缩写依次为:Ape(类人猿)、Bird(食虫鸟类)、Duik(麂羚)、Ele(大象)、Fbird(大型食果鸟类)、Mky(猴类)、Pig(森林猪类)、Squ(松鼠类)。
针对该混合模型的两个组分,我们对解释变量(位于Parameter列中)的效应进行了估算。前缀为b0的参数对应ZIP模型中结构性零概率组分的效应,此类效应处于logit尺度下;前缀为b的参数对应模型中丰度组分的效应,其表征各功能群的种群密度。
解释变量包括:frt(果实丰度);pca1(主成分轴1——乔木数量);pca2(主成分轴2——藤本植物数量);pca3(主成分轴3——林下植被状况);pco(林冠异质性);site(林分类型,其中[1]为受干扰且受狩猎的森林,[2]为受干扰但未受狩猎的森林,[3]为未受干扰且未受狩猎的森林)。
月×物种随机效应的标准差为sigma.mo。基于估算得到的解释变量与原始观测数据,我们计算得到以下指标:post.p为各林分样带观测值服从泊松分布的概率;post.lambda为基于泊松分布预测得到的各林分功能群种群密度;post.abund为各林分的功能群平均种群密度。
针对每个参数值,我们列出了其均值(Mean)、标准差(SD)、均值的蒙特卡洛标准误(MC error),以及2.5%分位数、50%分位数(即中位数Median)和97.5%分位数。
