Our main goal was to explore how the soil heritages of previous crops affect the 1) diversity and composition of microbial communities in root-associated compartments, 2) recruitment strategies of maize roots to soil microorganisms and the co-occurrence patterns of microbial taxa, and 3) assembly processes of microbial communities in root-associated compartments.

本研究的核心目标为探究前茬作物的土壤遗留效应如何影响以下三方面内容：1）根际相关微生境（root-associated compartments）中微生物群落的多样性与组成；2）玉米根系对土壤微生物的招募策略，以及微生物类群间的共现模式；3）根际相关微生境中微生物群落的组装过程。
