THE LEGAL NATURE OF THE PROTECTION ORDER IN PROTECTING THE FAMILY INSTITUTION AND LIABILITY FOR ITS VIOLATION

This article examines the legal nature of the protection order as an effective legal mechanism for strengthening the family institution and preventing domestic violence in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study analyzes the legal status of the protection order, its legal essence, grounds for issuance, duration of validity, mechanisms for ensuring its enforcement, and liability for violating its requirements. Furthermore, the article evaluates the compliance of Uzbekistan's legislation with international legal standards governing the protection of victims of domestic violence. Based on the legal experience of the United Nations, the Council of Europe, and several developed countries, scientifically grounded recommendations are proposed for improving the protection order institution in Uzbekistan.
