Metagenomic analyses reveal the role of gut microbiota in antibody-mediated renal allograft rejection

We enrolled 49 kidney transplantation recipients, 21 showed AMR and 28 were non-AMR controls with stable post-transplant renal functions. Shotgun sequencing of fecal samples were performed in kidney transplantation recipients with AMR and controls.

本研究纳入49名肾移植受者，其中21名确诊为抗体介导的排斥反应（Antibody-Mediated Rejection, AMR），其余28名为移植后肾功能稳定的非AMR对照人群。研究人员对该队列中AMR患者及对照个体的粪便样本开展了鸟枪测序（Shotgun Sequencing）。
