Cross-Frontier Shopping 1989: Danish People

The cross-frontier shopping is in a constant growth. In May 1989 the shopping percentage has increased by 24% compared to May 1986. But at the same time the cross-frontier shopping has changed character. It appears from the latest study The Danish Institute of Border Region Studies has carried out in May 1989. It is formed by interviews with 772 Danes and 349 Germans in passenger cars and buses at the land border. In 1977, 1980 and in 1985/86 the Institute made similar studies.
