ABSTRACT
TEAMx is an international research programme that aims at improving our understanding of exchange processes in the atmosphere over mountains and at evaluating how well these are represented in numerical weather prediction and climate models. To this end, an observational campaign spanning one complete year (15/9/2024 – 15/9/2025) and including a wide range of instrumentation in the European Alps, was organised. Here, ceilometer data collected by GeoSphere Austria during the TEAMx campaign in Radfeld, Austria are made available for download.
More details about TEAMx can be found at the TEAMx website as well as in Serafin et al. (2020) and Rotach et al. (2022).
DATA SET DESCRIPTION
Data were collected using a Vaisala CL51 ceilometer located at Radfeld, Austria. The site is located at 11.932307°E, 47.458925°N at 510 m above sea level (asl). Provided are daily NetCDF files without data corrections for the time period 21/10/2024 – 30/9/2025.
