Age Poll, Wave 4, October 1974

This is the fourth wave in a series of six surveys conducted monthly from July to December 1974 commissioned by 'The Age' and undertaken by Australian Sales Research Bureau Pty. Ltd., with the cooperation of the Political Science Department of the Melbourne University. The purpose of the survey was to investigate respondent's attitudes toward the economic and political systems. The main variables included voting preferences in the previous federal election, attitudes toward party leader's popularity, and voting intentions in the next federal election. Background variables of respondents include age, sex, place of birth, marital status, location, demographic, occupation, income, education, religious affiliation, telephone renting and self-rated social class.

本数据集为1974年7月至12月间按月开展的六轮系列调查中的第四轮，该系列调查由《时代报》（The Age）委托，澳大利亚销售研究私人有限公司（Australian Sales Research Bureau Pty.
